Uncle Buddy... well what can I say... He will truly be missed here on Earth but I know that where Uncle Buddy is resting... there is Joy and Peace! I got a blessed moment to sing to him through the doorway of his Home due to Covid-19 pandemic on July 3rd.. we sang a few of Moms favorite songs.. he listened while I laughed at my singing . Ernest Uncle Buddy Candies always worked at Georgia Pacific for 37 plus years and he bought strap wood home for all of us on New Road and others who needed some... he told me stories of taking 2-5 bologna sandwiches to work because he was always sharing when his co workers left their lunch or maybe didn't have one to bring! Love for him is like my very own Father Jackie Jones Harris ... Really Gonna Miss You my Friend

The Meeks family, Minster Ben and Elaine would like to wish you Peace and Comfort in this difficult time. We would like for you to know that your father, grandfather, brother, uncle will truly be missed. We have so many fond memories of Deacon Candice. He was always there for me when the youth had to be at church because he said that women are not to be at church without a man being there. He just was so supportive of whatever I would ask of him. Whenever he did devotion at church he always starts out by saying Anybody got a song to sing. You just start it and we want leave you out there we are going to help you!!! He would keep us up on everything that was going on in the news and what we needed to do to protect ourselves. He was such a big part of Righteous Grove. His presence will be missed so much! I will whole on to my memories of him and I encourage the families to do the same. Praying for you all.
