Audrey Orene Turner age 80 formerly of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina transitioned on Friday, July 10, 2020 at The Citadel at Mooresville She was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on February 17, 1940 to the late James Early Turner and Etta Burton Turner. She graduated from Catawba Rosenwald High School. She joined the Prospect Baptist Church at an early age and served on several boards. She retired from Broyhill Furniture.

A graveside will be held Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church, Sherrills Ford. The body will lie in state from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Ebony & White’s Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face coverings will be required! Surviors are her brother, Larkie Leon Turner and a sister, Betty Turner both of Sherrills Ford, NC
