Obituary For Roy Nathan Pitts

Roy Nathan Pitts was born in Commerce, Georgia on September 22, 1960. He departed this life on July 10, 2020. Roy N. Pitts was born to the late Robert Pitts and Nancy Pitts. They later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where Roy N. Pitts attended and graduated from Luther Judson Price High School in 1979. Roy was a loving and caring person with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed keeping up with politics and listening to music. He devoted his life to learning new things, mastering his skill in painting, and getting closer to God. Roy is survived by three sisters: Peggy Ball (Atlanta, GA), Susan Pitts (Athens, GA), and Denise Williams (Atlanta, GA). Two Brothers: William D. Pitts (Sabrina Pitts) (Atlanta, GA), and Larry C. Pitts (Atlanta, GA); one Aunt Gloria Davis (Commerce, GA); a special niece Quashaunia S. Darden (Atlanta, GA); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and three devoted friends: Betty King, Charmaine, and Joe. Viewing from 1:00 pm to 6:pm on Friday July 17, 2020. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Smith, Dennis-Smith Funeral Home on Saturday July 18, 2020 at 12:00 pm. Family is requesting that everyone wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
