Obituary For Francine Gonzalez-Hopkins

On Friday, July 10, 2020 Francine Louise Gonzalez-Hopkins, loving wife of Lewis Hopkins passed away at the age of 68. She unfortunately suffered a major stroke. We are grateful to the medical staff at Grady Hospital, Atlanta, as well as the Harbor Grace hospice team of Atlanta who took care of her at the end of her life.

Francine was born on Oct 10, 1951 in Glendale, CA. Born to her parents, Catherine and Frank Gonzalez and her older sister Nancy Gonzalez-Caro. She married her husband Lewis Hopkins in Anniston, Alabama, where they lived, on April 22, 2017.

She is survived by her children from a previous marriage which includes her son Steve and his wife Trisha, her daughter Nicole and her husband Chris, her son Steven and his wife Jana. Her grandchildren Alyssa, Morganne, Alison, and Brandon. Her sister Nancy, daughter Michele and her husband Justin. As well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Frank as well as many other loved ones

She enjoyed many things over her life like football, travel, sewing, dogs especially her Westies, Samantha and Benson, and doing fun creative things for her grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic, a service will be held at a later time to celebrate her life.
