Obituary For Mr. Johnny B Dickens, Jr.

Mr. Johnnie B. Dickens, Jr. of Lakeland and formerly of Greenwood entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 13th at the Lakeland Hospice House in Lakeland. He was 88 years old.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his granddaughter, Latonya Irving (Rae); two great granddaughters who reside in St. Petersburg, Florida; six brothers, Kary Dickens of Lakeland, Florida, Hayes Dickens of Poinciana, Florida, Adolphus Dickens of Saylorburg, Pennsylvania, Frank Dickens of Greenwood, Florida, Richard Dickens (Gloria) of Greenwood, Florida and Gregory Dickens of Greenwood, Florida; two sisters, Annie White of Lakeland, Florida and Alma Dickens of Newark, New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held Friday, July 17th from 3-6 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will be held graveside Saturday, July 18th at 11 a.m. at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery with Rev. William Harvey officiating. Interment to follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
