Buddy was a strong advocate for the Deaf community. He got a degree in American Sign Language interpreting later in life so that he could better serve the Deaf community, specifically in his church. I had the pleasure of being one of his professors and a friend. I knew him as a faithful, Christian man who had a servant heart. Tammy Cantrell

One of our fondest memories of my dear Uncle Buddy and wife Nancy was when they visited the Mall of America years back.We picked them up from the mall and took them to our home in Minneapolis. They spent a short time in our city but I will always remember the joy we all felt at the time. He will be missed and always loved. Denise Weathers/Miller, Larry and Lawanica Weathers
