Mr. Sam W. Hollaway, Jr.

Grovetown, GA—Mr. Sam W. Hollaway, Jr., entered into rest Friday, July 17, 2020.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. from Mays Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Wrens, GA, with Reverend Alvin Lewis, Jr.. There will be no repast. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Golden Harvest.

Survivors are three sons, Dwight (Lola) Hollaway, Augusta, GA, Dwain E. (Maria) Hollaway, Grovetown, GA, and Travis Hollaway, Augusta, GA and a host of grands and great grands; one sister, Earlene Hines, Conyers, GA; one brother, Horace Hollaway, St. Petersburg, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Deacon Holloway. Whenever I attended Mays Grove and he was there he'll have that big smile and speak by calling me my sister's name, which he knew the difference but wanted my reaction which was a smile.
