I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Mr. John Terry, age 93, of 708 Manson-Axtell Road in Norlina, North Carolina departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM in at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend Eddie W. Lawrence will officiate services and deliver the eulogy.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Viewing for Mr. John Terry will be Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Six children John Williams (Lileta) of Hanover MD., Joyce Jackson of Owings Mills MD., Phyllis Hunt of Norlina, N.C and Michael Terry (Sadie) of Norlina, N.C. , Cora Lewis of Norlina N.C and Angelia Somerville of Norlina N.C, nine grandchildren Sharr, Cortni, Montrel, Brandon, Milan, Jalen, Niketa, Lekeisha and Tawanya and 18 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
