Guest Book

2020 was a year I think we'd all like to forget, but someone I won't forget was my neighbor and friend, Kent Wallace. Kent lived next to me and my wife in Elberton, where he moved after his divorce. Kent was always upbeat, always there when we needed him and the best neighbor we ever had during our time on Edwards St.(05'-20') Sadly due to circumstances of 2020 we didn't hear of Kent's passing until early 2021. I love you Buddy and we really miss you and so do the birds you use to feed in the back yard. Chip & Lauran Fortson

I remember when I first met Kent. He had just accepted the Lord Jesus as his Lord and Savior. On fire for God. That started a wonderful friendship for over 30 years. Over the years when I'd see Kent I'd ask him "How ya doing". Or "Whats happening". His response most every time was "Jesus". We will miss you so much but we know you are with our Lord. And next time I see him I'm going ask "What's happening". It wouldn't surprise me if I hear from him "Jesus". Love ya man. Rest in His every loving arms. See ya!!!

My dearest of dear friends. Be at peace in the arms of our gracious Lord. You are home and can watch over those of us who must tarry a little longer before we see you again. I love you man. You were an inspiration to me in so many ways, and I look forward to seeing you again before too long. Thank you Lord for the time you allowed your returned prodigal with me. Jody
