Obituary For Eddie Williams

Mr. Eddie Williams, Sr., Wadley, GA, departed this life, Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Live Oak Cemetery, Wadley, GA. With masks and social distancing. Viewing will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was a native of Wadley, Georgia, born to the parentage of Rufus Williams Sr. and Dina Mae Little. Mr. Williams was employed as a Foreman with the Department of Transportation for over 20 years. He was a member of Live Oak C.M.E. Church. He had a passion for farming and loved driving the tractor. He was married to his beloved and devoted wife, Janice Brown Williams, who took flight in 2009 to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and, siblings, Johnnie Williams, Sammie L, Williams, Dan Williams, Charlie Williams, and Annie Ruth Kitchens. Survivors include his children, Eddie Williams, Jr., Wadley, GA., Walter Alphonso (Sha’vonne Williams) Brown, CT, Antonia La’shell (Eric) Brown, Gleenwood, GA, Edlena, Mashell (Nicholas) Law, Atlanta, GA, Bernadette Williams, Wadley, GA, Bobbie Jean Brown, Louisville, GA,; a nieces and nephew that he reared as his own, Leon Williams, Swainsboro, GA, Jamie Williams, Millen, Shalinda Williams, Louisville, GA; Siblings, Rufus Williams, Jr., Bartow, GA, Frankie (Dora) Williams, Swainsboro, GA, Classie (Pughsley) Williams, Wadley, GA, Sallie Williams, Wadley, GA, Sollie (Sam) Prosser, Wadley, GA,; Grandchildren, Kayden Williams, Wadley, GA.
