The Life of Mr. Floyd Dewayne Marrie | a.k.a “Bonk” Sunrise: May 30, 1978 | Sunset: July 19, 2020 Floyd Dewayne Marrie was born May 30, 1978 to Leon Green and the late Fredia Marrie.

He attended New Destiny Christian Church under the pastoring of Steve Smith. Floyd received his education in the Attalla School System.

He is preceded in death by: Fredia Marrie (mother), Lonnie (Mary) Marrie (grandparents), Lester Glover (grandfather), Harold Marrie, Willie Potter, David Williams, Roosevelt Potter (uncles)

He leaves to cherish his memories:

-Wife: Monica Macon-Marrie (of Gadsden,AL) -Children: Briana Macon (of Gadsden, AL) Ciara and Tiara Macon (of Huntsville, AL), and Tariq Ruffin (of Gadsden,AL) -Grandchildren: Amarion Harris, Laiyah Macon (both of Gadsden,AL) and Kashtyn Maclin (of Huntsville,AL) -Father: Leon (Latoya) Green (of Gadsden, AL) -Brothers: Christopher (Taylor) Marrie (of Copperas Cove, Tx), Travelous (Lara) Marrie, and Caleb Green (both of Gadsden, AL) -Sister: Angelia Green (of Gadsden,AL) -In Laws: Kimberly (Rogelio) Garcia (of Lithonia,GA), Derrick (Brenda) Macon and Cory (Latasha) McGhee (both of Gadsden, AL) -Grandmother: Patricia Glover (of Gadsden,Al) -Aunts: Josephine Harden, Rosa Lee Crook, Lonnie (William) Johnson, Mary Ann Ragland, and Loretta Marrie (all of Gadsden, Al) -Uncles: James (Deborah) Glover (of Boaz,AL) , John (Joyce) Marrie (of Copperas Cove, Tx) , Larry (Sherrie) Green (of Douglasville, GA), Jimmy Glover (of Nashville, TN) , and Ralph Marrie (of Attalla, AL) -Bestfriend: Rushando (Kami) Horton (of Decatur, AL) -Special Nephew: Anija Bell (of Oxford, AL) and A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

Public Viewing With the family will be 5-8 P.M. Friday July 24,2020 at the West Gadsden Funeral Home (Betty D. Robinson) Chapel.

Floyd was the guy that encouraged everyone at work!Never complained about anything! He was a hard worker, great family man and friend. I really send my deepest sympathy to his family. We loved and looked up to Floyd at Gadsden regional.
