Doc Moore, affectionately known to us as Baltimore Sam, you were more than a cousin, you were a Brother and friend,... from New Bern to Lexington Ave in Brooklyn, where it all started, to Maryland, you were a stable in my life, my children and grands,.. the countless hours spent together listening to music, talking on the phone, discussing politics, laughing, crying, fighting, it was always about love, Sam you were SPECIAL, your heart was GOLDEN, but so was your taste, lol,... always the best, the most expensive, you dared to dream,.. Reputation is made in a moment BUT Character is built off a Lifetime Rest in Heaven My Brother James Franklin & Charlie

Cousin BMore Sam, James City Sam, Doc Mo... A man with many names because you endeared yourself to where ever and who ever you were around. Thank you for always being so positive and uplifting no matter what may be going on. You first and foremost showed concern for others, rarely expressing anything that may have been troubling you. We will miss your loving spirit, infectious laugh and them "dag-gon-nits" you would throw out in every conversation!! Love You Cousin. You will be missed but always celebrated!! Tygir, Karen, Kam & Kasey

We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Moore family in the loss of your love one. Sam was a big brother to me growing up. He and Andy were always the same true BIG brothers and friends. When I would come home and I would run into him. He always brought a smile and an encouraging word. A brother and a friend like Sam are hard to find these days. His mark will forever be in my heart and spirit. For the Moore family Psalms 147: 3 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds". For Sam RIP my brother Matthew 25:21 "Well done my faithful servant". You are respected, loved and you will be missed. Marion and Diane Curry

Once again , we say goodbye to a calm spirited individual. Rest in the Lord. May his peace be with you until we meet again. Samuel was so gracious to come down to mom's for a visit before we left for Chicago last September 2019. Take no moment for granted when someone takes out time for a visit. It may just be the last opportunity for a greeting or gathering. To the family, may God's love comfort you with a wealth of family memories and stories of overcoming! Brothers like this do not come your way often. I thank God for putting Sam in my life. He and his brother Andrew are the big brothers, I never had. It was good to know he was always looking out and our relationship remained close. Rufus P. Credle Jr.
