Aunt Elaine, you will be missed so much! Your love, hospitality, generosity & selflessness will always be remembered & cherished. I am going to miss shouting 'HI AUNT ELAINE' just about every time I walked into mommy's house knowing that she was on the phone with you (usually talking about what you cooked that day ... or something you already talked about the day before). I will always remember you rolling out the red carpet for us when we came to visit, taking care to have all the things we like stocked and then some. You even catered to us when you were the guest, cooking up big meals as soon as you arrived. You did all so effortlessly and lovingly. My most heartfelt condolences to you Myron, Boog, & Des. I love you all!

To Myron, Boog, Dez, Lenora and family; Elaine gave my sister a home (as well as family) before she left New York City. She might have even asked my sister if she wanted to move along with you all. Now, it wasn't all 'hunky- dory' because if you know Elaine at all you know she had no trouble speaking her mind. And my sister could speak her mind as well. However, though Elaine, as well as her twin Lenora, might sling words that hurt, those same words came packed punches filled with love, forgiveness and understanding. The kind of understanding and caring that my sister's own family might not have understood at the time, but Elaine and Lenora understood. I have always respected and appreciated Elaine for that. As a matter if fact I love your whole family for your kindness, generosity and loving ways. Our heartfelt sympathy and love are with you all. The sister and entire family of Ms Gwendolyn Spear Thanks

Till the day that we get to see her again in the near future, for John 5:28 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Elaine has been a fun loyal friend for the last thirty eight years my heart is broken losing her so soon. We had great plans for the future we were going to travel Italy and just sample all their food all down the coast. So very sad she was a wonderful person always trying to feed everyone with her delicious dishes. Love and miss you Linda hobbs
