She graduated from Central High School. She retired her working years from Jefferson County Public Schools. She was a devoted Jehovah Witness and took pride in being a member of the Fern Creek Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies also included playing board games (Rummikub) and watching Hallmark and Western movies. Her outgoing, outspoken, fun-loving, charming personality will be sadly missed but never forgotten. She will be greatly missed at home, Kingdom Hall and by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Dave White, Terry White, Ricky White, and Eric White; three daughters, San Edwards, Gale White, and Diane White; one sister Bertha Hamby(deceased); three nephews Billy Hamby(deceased), Michael Hamby, Felix Hamby; five nieces Annette Hamby(deceased), Georgetta “Gee-Gee” Hamby, Janice Norfleet, Cheryl “Neise” Hamby, and Brenda Mills;10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
