Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Breland , 100, of Williston, SC will be private.

Mrs. Pearl Breland was born in Barnwell, South Carolina on October 14, 1919 to the late Luther Youmans and Mattie Kearse Youmans.

She was educated in the public schools of Barnwell County. Pearl enjoyed going to church and at a young age, she joined and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Ulmer, South Carolina. She later joined Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of Denmark, South Carolina where she was a faithful member until her health declined. She was married to the late Joseph Breland. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother an aunt. She enjoyed children and served as a foster parent for many years.

On July 23, 2020, our angel received her wings at the Calhoun Convalescent Center in St. Matthews, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her two children: Cindy Culberth of Barnesville, GA and Norman Robinson of Aberdeen, NC; an adopted son, Peter Kearse; six grandchildren: Pearl Culberth of Orangeburg, SC and William Culberth, Jr. of Barnesville, GA, Nicole Culberth of Williston, SC, Norman Robinson, Jr. and Chama Robinson, Jr both of Brooklyn, NY and Monique Robinson; two sisters: Ruenell Y. Brown of Blackville, SC and Mattie Y. Davis of Denmark, SC; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.
