To the family of Wilma Harris-Evans, you all are in my prayers. She was a very sweet and caring friend and colleague. I met Toddie in 1980 when she worked in the business office at NCCU. We often played games during lunch in the lounge and we would win. When she realized I was marrying her stepdad's cousin, she gave us the most beautiful toasting glasses that we used. Toddie was a beautiful person inside and out. God has picked one of the best flowers for his garden. Pattie Elliott Smith

Elder Wilma Harris Evans "Toddie" Heaven is rejoicing for their angel is home. No longer on this earth will Toddie roam. She labored hard so she would one day hear Well done my faithful servant, my dear. She could light up a room with her smile And for so many she went the extra mile. Jamal, Sheri, Jerri and her grands too She loved each and every one of you. Please trust that God will see you through. An aching heart He can easily heal Because the pain will become too real. One day her memories will comfort you And a smile will begin to shine through. Her life on earth was not in vain For she knew to call on Jesus name. Tears of sorrow let them flow For your heart will never let her go. Kerrwood never forgets their own Even when they transition to their heavenly home. Gone but never forgotten our friend Now your life with Jesus begins. By Pat Jenkins James "Toosie" August 3, 2020
