Private funeral services will be held for Mr. Tashon Grant, 28, of 1580 Orangewood Drive, Orangeburg, SC. Reverend Virgil Johnson is officiating.

Mr. Tashon Grant, son of Crystal (Marcus Johnson) Grant and Keith (Dominique Price) Adams, was born November 26, 1991 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was the grandson of St. Clair Grant, John D. Wright, the late Teresa Williams and the late Redell (Hercules) Stevenson Adams. Tashon entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The angel from heaven was released that day and Tashon was called to be with his Savior.

Tashon was educated in the Orangeburg District 5 school system and graduated from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School in the year two thousand ten. He was employed by Husqvarna as a fork lift driver. He was a devoted father to his two children, whom he absolutely loved and adored. Tashon enjoyed being a big brother to his siblings and spending time with family, friends and his 301 crew. The smile he kept on his face is one of the things you'll always remember. He attended Olive Grove Baptist Church in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Tashon was preceded in death by his aunts: Caroline Crooks, Sadie Washington and Barbara Adams.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories two children: Taylen Grant and Tashon Sinclair Grant, Jr.; his fiancé: Jessica Akewright; brothers: Diquan Grant, Patrick Brown, Jocobbi Colter, Ramel Hopkins, Price Adams, Rocky Simmons, Jamall Grant and Robert Jamison; sisters: Markita Johnson, Patshanae Brown, Antanazya Greene and Antanerya Greene; nephews: Kayson Johnson, Kazmir Myers, and Kaden Johnson; aunts: Latoya (Keith) Grant Carswell, Angela Fogle, Shakena (Antonio) Dantzler, Lationa Adams and Betty Ann Stevenson; uncles: Tony (Shelia) Grant, Darryl Spigner, Keith Clark, Warren Fogle, John Adams, Herbert (Shirley) Adams and Simon Adams; Godmother: Milisa Brown. He was raised in the home of his grandaunts: Betty Jamison, Barbara Grant and Martha Grant. Special aunts included: Pamela (Donald) Shuler, Rose Lynn Felder, Carolyn (Tyrone) Brown, Lynette (Grover) Grant Davis and Vivian Hampton; special cousins include: Christy (Dekota) Felder, Derian Williams, Shaqwana Stroman, Ebony Glover, Laclair Grant, Kezia Hampton, Ashley Bethea, Sylvester Bethea, Zoey Grant, Zhakquan Grant, Zhanylle Grant, Kywanna (Algerald) Guinyard, Kyera Smith, Keith Smith, Saquan Smith, Dashawn Grant, Kennedi Carswell, Kanai Smith Carswell, Naitia Thompson, Shanice Thompson and Sarkasha Williams and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
