Obituary For Annie Spencer

Mrs. Annie Wooten Spencer, 80

Annie Willis Spencer, the daughter of the late Elder Willis Linder and Irene Sloan Linder was born May 16, 1939 in Quitman, Georgia. She was a faithful member of Zion Temple Church of God in Unity for many years. She served as Mother Wooten, head mother of the church. Annie was educated by Brooks County school system. She worked as a certified nurse assistant for many years and provided affordable child care for several years as well. Her heart was big and her smile was warm, she will be missed by many. She departed this life Saturday March 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her sisters Laura Linder, Dolly Corker and Esty Gosier. Annie leaves to cherish her memories; four daughters, Alysia Spencer (Bruce), Quitman, GA, Stephanie Atkinson (Keith), Holiday, FL, Tammy Hunt (Herbert), Valdosta, GA and Kimberly Whitus (Byron), Quitman, GA; three sons, Adonis Wooten (Barbara), Valley Center, CA, Dennis Wooten (Jackie), Houston, TX and Dayton, OH and Kevin Wooten (Carolyn), Valdosta, GA; two sisters, Martha Jones, Valdosta, GA and Corma “Nicki” Linder, Adel, GA; three brothers, Johnny Linder (Pearline), Augusta, GA, Willie Linder (Debra), Quitman, GA and Joseph Linder, Madison, FL; step-mother, Beulah Linder, Madison, FL and a host of relatives and many friends. Services were Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at North End Cemetery in Quitman with Dr. Warnell Parker officiating.
