Obituary For Mrs. Lucille Bland

Mrs. Lucille Everett Bland, affectionally know to family and friends as “Lou” was born December 19, 1949 to the late Victor and Blanche Everett. She departed this life, July 27, 2020 at her daughter’s residence. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sally Jane Moore; four brothers, Glen, Bobby, Will and Lonnie Everett.

Lou was an active member of Another Chance Gospel Ministries. She was a loving and caring person and was passionate about helping others. Lou enjoyed working in the yard, planting flowers, feeding her goldfish and spending time with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Charles Bland; two daughters, Annie Little and Regina Tillery; two sons, Bobby (Carlottia) Everett, Chris Moore; one sister, Brenda Capel all of High Point, NC; one brother, William (Minnie) Everett of Cando, NC; three aunts, Lucille Robinson of Troy, NC, Rebecca Collins of Candor, NC and Marie Everett of Rockingham, NC; thirteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; favorite cousin Billy Collins and best friend, Rhonda Collins.

A private funeral service will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Bland may be viewed on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.
