Guest Book

I met Ms. Aletha in January the radiology waiting room at Singing River. I just felt drawn to her, and we had a deep conversation that ended with us holding hands as I prayed for her and you, her family. During our conversation she told me that she knew her cancer was back and it was bad. She said she thought this time would be different than the other times that she beat it. She was ready to be with the Lord & when I prayed, it was for healing, of course, but also for peace for her family if it was time to go Home. She was not scared, but afraid that you, her family, wouldn't understand why she didn't want to fight this time. She's seen it firsthand and has no desire to suffer while attempting extraordinary measures. I have prayed for you all since January. I am so sorry that such a dynamic woman is no longer here, but she loved you all. I will keep praying for you; she asked me to. Melynda Ross, Moss Point
