Larry Rutledge, 65, of Ft. Mitchell, AL passed Monday, July 27,2020
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, August 1, 2020 at St. John A.M.E Church, Fort Mitchell, AL with Rev. Rodney Smith officiating and Presiding Elder Johnny Rutledge eulogist. A public visitation will be held Friday, July 31,2020 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Rutledge was a 1972 graduate of Mt. Olive High School and worked for Johnson Textile and Vectorply Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Rutledge; one daughter, Samone Sala Rutledge; two brothers, Clarence (Charlie Mae) Rutledge of Phenix City, AL and Lee Ernest Rutledge of Ft. Mitchell, AL.; One loving sister, Jeannette Allen of Ft. Mitchell, AL; Mother in Law, Mrs. Thelma Williams of Phenix City, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.

My condolences to Beatrice, Samone and Family..so sorry for your loss. Larry and I were in the same class at Mt Olive for a while. we always reminded each other that we had the same birthday and argued who was the oldest. I pray God will comfort you in your spirit and the Holy Spirit will give you a garment of praise for heaviness. Hold fast to your faith and to the hand of the Lord. Keeping you lifted in prayer. To the Rutledge Family, I am going to miss Larry dearly. My heart is heavy and I know coming home will never be the same. I always looked forward to seeing him and the family.
