To the Family of sweet Kim. My heart is broken to get the news of kim passing. I know your hearts are heavy with grief, but there's a lot of out pouring of love for her in this forum. To this very day she brings a warm smile to my heart and a peacefulness in my soul....just like she did waaaay back then (met her when we were in elementary school) when I was the new kid just moving to town. She was a friend that first day and all the years thru high school. Kim made an impact on this world and I'm the better for having known her. Rest well, Kim. You did good! Jeannette Everette, RMSH '83.

Kim was one of the sweetest ladies I had ever met! She was my bestie at Baskerville Elementary. Her beautiful smile, and soft spoken words helped get me through some rough times. I remember inviting her to go to Church On The Rise with me one time. She sat beside me and we worshipped together, shared laughs together, and she could not resist playing with my grandson's feet, as she thought they were the sweetest feet (he was 16 months old at the time). Some of the words to one of Kim's all-time favorite songs: "My chains are gone I've been set free My God, my Savior has ransomed me And like a flood His mercy rains Unending love, Amazing grace" Even years after working with Kim, every time I would hear this song on the radio, I said a prayer for her. Rest in the arms of the Lord, my sweet, sweet friend. I will see you again one day, and it will be a joyous reunion!!
