Obituary For Ailene Harden

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., Autumn Woods Cemetery, 4000 W. Northside Drive, Jackson, MS 39209.

Ailene Harden was born July 11, 1951 in Jackson, Mississippi to Ernest Harden, Sr. and Bernice Amos-Harden. She was baptized at Greater Fairview M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. S.L. Spann, Sr. She was educated in the Jackson Public Schools System. Everyone who knew her would say that she was happiest when surrounded by family. However, if she didn’t like something, she had no problem letting you know! She loved to listen to her music and was known to bust a move from time to time at the family gatherings. One of her most favorite things to do was to be active at her church, Northside Baptist Church, where Rev. Johnny Smith is the pastor. Her most favorite person in the world would have to be her son, Jermaine Harden. He was the most important part of her life. Everyone whose lives she touched will forever cherish her beautiful, sweet spirit. She was preceded in death by her mother (Bernice Amos-Harden) father (Earnest Harden) sisters (Cheryl Denise Harden and Brenda Harden-Gipson) and two brothers (John Harden and Frank Harden) Ailene leaves to cherish her memory, her only son Jermaine Harden (Felecia), three grandchildren, Alisha, Mikela, and Keidon; four sisters, Carolyn (Timothy) Taylor, Joann (Willie) Rucker, Berlinda (Issac) Warden, and Rita Terrell; two brothers James Harden and Donald (Ruth) Harden; one sister-in-law, Shirley Harden, and one special cousin, Larry Jones. She also leaves a host of very close nieces and nephews whom she adored; cousins, other relatives, and friends.
