Obituary For Douglas Harris

Mr. Douglas Harris, 68, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson, Mississippi.

He is the son of Mrs. Clotiel Harris and the late Johnnie Harris. Mr. Harris was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He was a member of Monticello Alcorn State Alumni Association, Woodmen of America, Masonic Collins Consistory #190 of Lawrence County and the NAACP.

Mr. Harris was a retired Rural Economic Development Agency Supervisor who enjoyed spending time with family.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Monticello, Mississippi at 11am.

He is survived by: daughters, Constance Bradford of Monticello, MS and Katilyn Harris of McComb, MS; mother, Clotiel Harris of Monticello, MS; brothers, Robert G. Harris of Monticello, MS and Thomas Harris of Chicago, IL; sisters, Johnnie M. Woodard and Dortha Grinstead both of Monticello, MS; grandchildren: 5.

Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-6pm.
