Mr. Hernton Jackson, 89 of Bartow, GA, departed this life, July 26, 2020. Services will be held outside at Jones Chapel C.M.E. Church, Bartow, GA, August 1, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Jones Chapel Cemetery, Bartow, GA. with mask and social distancing. Viewing will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home. Mausoleum Entombment will be held. Mr. Jackson was a native of Washington County, Georgia, born September 18, 1930, to the parentage of the late Doyle Jackson and Bertha Dell Jackson. He was retired from Thermo King Corp. Mr. Jackson was a member of Jones Chapel C.M.E. Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Pecola Gilmore Jackson, Bartow, GA; children Clarice Jenkins, Louisville, GA; Vivan Jackson, Durham, NC, Vinnia (Abraham) Jackson, Durham, NC; LaKeila Jackson, Durham, NC; granddaughters, Britney McCoy and Amber Jackson.
