Obituary For James Richard Mizell

James Richard Mizell was carried on the wings of a dove on July 29, 2020 from Oak View Nursing Home in Waverly Hall, GA. He was a dear and special person to all that knew him. He remained to be a humble soul throughout his life.

James was born on May 11, 1952 to the late Mr. Robert Mizell Jr. and Mrs. Bertha Mizell. He loved his family,friends and life.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings: Ethel Mizell, Leonard Powell, Jimmy Powell, Willie Cook and Melvin Cook.

His memories will be cherished by one daughter: Janita Jones; eight sisters: Annie Powell, Annie Harig, Georgia Woods, Annie Upchurch, Henrietta Bowman, Pamela Cook, Brenda Cook and Annie Clark; six brothers: Johnny Mizell, Larry Mizell, Dennis Mizell, Robert Cook, Larry Cook and George Powell and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 @ 12PM at Terry Family Funeral Home LLC - Talbotton 144 College Avenue Talbotton, GA

Due to COVID-19 there will be a 25 person minimum, face coverings are required and social distancing will be enforced.
