Cassie Stokley Floerke, was born September 23, 1955 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to the late Artemus Stokley and Alice Marie Thomas.

She transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 23, 2020. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: her twin Casey, Harrell Lee Hoffler and Artis Glenn Stokley.

She grew up in the Bronx, NY, where she attended school. Cassie returned to North Carolina in 2013.

She is survived by her husband, Earnest of 25 years; two sons, Dameen of Fayetteville and Donald (Shanice) who resided with her; a stepdaughter, Gina (Steven) of VA and her sister Theresa Jackson of Fayetteville, a brother, Robert Stokley of Covington Ga., two grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends

Graveside services were held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Sandhills Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC.
