JORDAN, Gilda H., age 67, passed July 29, 2020.

Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Jordan will be Saturday, August 8, 2020 @ 1:00PM; Willie A. Watkins Historic West End Chapel, 1003 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW. Atlanta, GA 30310.

A viewing will be Friday from 2-6PM.

Due to the spread of COVID-19, we are requesting that everyone wear a mask.

Condolences to the family of Gilda Jordan... May the beautiful memories provide peace and consolation to you. My favorite memory of Gilda is her smile. I affectionately referred to her as "Glamour Girl" , she would smile and then proceed to give me an update on her family. Many years ago while shopping, I remarked to the casher that her mannerisms reminded me of a former colleague and friend. She asked me for the the name of the person and when I replied, Gilda Jordan, she said "That's my sister." I am so grateful to have known this bright and shining star. Vernell Stewart Britton

When I come home for a visit to Georgia, I have often met up with her on the track field and from there we will go and have breakfast at the senior center nearby.
