Kela, I am praying for you and the rest of the family during this time. As I reflected on how far Janice and I go back and some of the memories, I found myself smiling and I'm sure that because of the place you held in her heart, you too along with the rest of the family will be able to do the same in the near future. Know that I"m praying for you all. Love to you all as well.

My sincere condolences to the Family of Janice Rodgers Queen. You are in my heart and prayers. She was a good friend and confidant. Not to mention that contagious smile of hers. She would always brightening up the room with that Beautiful smile of hers. She would give me advice on my Foster Children and share her experiences over the years. I remember inviting her and her family to my church picnic. She brought everyone as promised. We had a ball. I was looking forward to traveling to Alabama with her soon. We were going to get that "thick cut country meat" Lol. I prayed to my mom to look out for her. I'm certain they will both hit it off very well. I already miss you my Sister! I will always love you! SIP P.S. Kela, I will always be here if you and Mikie needs me! Love you both! Love Always, Laphine Brown-Smith & Roger Smith

My sincerest condolences to the Rodgers and Queen families. Janice was an awesome cousin and amazing friend. From day one she accepted me when I moved to Perote,AL, where we attended Tech together and became friends. She was my cousin and my good friend, and I will always remember her sparkle and her zest for life. You've earned your wings my beautiful cousin, but I know you will be watching over everyone and keeping everything straight. Love you forever. Veronica Harris

With deepest sympathy to the Rodgers/Queen Family, you are in our prayers. Thanks for sharing Janice with us. We played basketball together at BCHS. She had unmatched energy: a very quick point guard. She was a sweet "Lady Hornet"... stinging with a smile. Rest in Peace teammate!!! Pamela Howard Keiling, BCHS c/o 82

It seems like just yesterday that Janice was that little toddler whose mom brought her to visit us in the country. We were so proud and she was so adorable. From that day and through the years we shared many hours of joy, laughter, love and happy times. Sadly and in an instant she was taken away from us. Throughout her life she amazed and made me proud of her for all of her great accomplishments and the lives she touched along the way. I will always remember how blessed I was to have known and shared many wonderful times with my sweet niece, Janice. I miss you today and always will. Someday we will meet again and you will be smiling as always. Lovingly, Auntie Katie
