Obituary For James Foster

James Ray Foster age 66 of Shelby, North Carolina transitioned on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina on March 25, 1954 to the late Lola Belle Foster Thompson. He attended John Chavis High School and played drums in the band. He retired from Dover Mills as a Loom Cleaner. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Funeral Home and the body may be viewed from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Due to COVID-19 everyone is required to wear masks. The private burial will follow on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, Libby Ross Foster of the home, two sons, Brannigan Thompson (Angie) of Atlanta, GA, Ryan Thompson of Shelby, NC, three daughters, Libbrattle Twitty of Shelby, NC,Yolanda McDougal of Fayeteville, NC, LaRubia Thomspon of Cherryilly, NC; one sister, Elizabeth Annette Ross (John) of Shelby, NC, five grandchildren, Brandon, Brook, Ryanna, Ryan, Jr., Braxton
