Anthony Tony Dopson was born August 6, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Jasper and Gertrude Dopson.

He attended the public schools of New York. Upon graduation, Anthony worked various jobs in New York. In 2003, Anthony relocated to Fairfax, South Carolina. Anthony was an entrepreneur. He loved his children and his family. He had a fondness for cars and motorcycles. He always was around to check on his Mother Gertrude, His Aunt Mamie, and his Uncle James.

In addition, to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving God Mother; Albertha Gardner.

God called home his Faithful Servant, Anthony Dopson on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Augusta Medical Center, Augusta, GA.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, (1) Son; Lerell Gillett, Brooklyn, New York; (3) Daughters; Azzizah Taylor, Queens, New York, Tonasia Dopson, Brooklyn, New York, and Tajzhane Dopson, Brooklyn, New York; (2) Brothers; David (Leona) Dopson, Atlanta, GA, Steve Dopson, Brooklyn, New York; (4) Grandchildren; Lavonni and Lerell Gillett, Amelia Skye, Dakota Ramsey;(1) Uncle; James Pinckney, Fairfax, South Carolina; (3) Aunts; Mamie P. Peeples, Fairfax, South Carolina, Ida Pinckney, Charleston, South Carolina and Carrie B. Hall, Springfield, Massachusetts; Loving Cousin; Sharon Seabrooks, Barnwell, South Carolina. A host of nieces, nephews, and devoted cousins.
