I met Ruby in 1989, after a Coker Reunion. She had moved to California and wanted to know about the cousins living there. Well, I was one of the cousins and she and I along with my husband, met up with her. We had some good times. She told us about her movie, "Love Your Mama," and that was the reason she moved to California to promote her movie. We went to see the movie and she was so happy we were there to see it. I hadn't spoken to Ruby in some years. We spoke last on the phone some years ago after she had left and moved from California. I'll always remember her as she was and may she take her rest and condolences to the family and God Bless you All. Cousins Linda and James Harrison of California

I remember talking to Ruby and she was telling me that she had done everything she wanted in life but finally felt after 60, it was time to get a husband! Such a fascinating person. Sincerely, Myrtis Allotey

I/We shall never forget the Premier of her movie, "Love Your Mama", Hosted by The Detroit Test Market. Ruby was so happy and she smiled with joy from all of the accolades. You will forever be on our heart. Cousins Faye and Larry Wynn of South Carolina

I will always remember Ruby's vibrant and friendly personality. We met while she was residing in Atlanta. Ruby enjoyed talking about her family. They meant the world to her. My prayer is that God will continue to comfort and sustain the family.
