Obituary For Grady Lawrence
Mr. Grady Lawrence, 81, of Eatonton, Georgia departed this life Thursday, July 30, 2020.
Visitation hours will be 5-7pm, Friday, August 7, 2020 at Bernard's, The Eatonton Chapel.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Countyline Primitive Baptist Church, 120 Neriah Road Hwy 212, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Grady was a simple man and easy to talk with. He will be missed by me as going to the dump and talking with him was one of the things I enjoyed about living here. I was shocked to learn of his death.

Grady was more than just an attendant at the recycling center. He was a friend. I met him a number of years ago when I first moved to Eatonton. Grady was never to busy to stop and say howdy. We weren't super close friends, but he was my friend just the same. When I first learned of his passing I scarce could take it in. He may not have been the wealthiest man around, but he was always good to me and gave his friendship without ever asking anything in return. It will never be the same to drive past his old work place and not see him there talking to neighbors or throwing up a wave as I traveled by. My sincere condolences to his family. I just found out about the sad news. It was always a pleasure to talk to Mr. Grady. He was one of the sweetest men I ever had the pleasure to meet. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
