My mother (Mary Alston) and Barbara used to spend a lot of time together back in the day, shopping at the Lace Place and going to bed spread sales in Oxford, NC. They also enjoyed going to the cloth store in Lawrenceville, VA. Shopping wasn't complete unless they stopped to see what's new in local thrift stores! These two ladies always enjoyed each other's company and long phone conversations. She will be missed. With love, Robin Alston
