Claude Allen Brown,76, of 11215 Old US Hwy. 70 W, Cove City, NC died Monday, August 3, 2020 at PAM Hospital, Rocky Mount, NC

Viewing hours are 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Friday and 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday at Oscar's Mortuary.

His service is 11:00 AM, Sunday, August 9, 2020 on The Grounds of Bryant Chapel AME Zion Church 506 N Main St., Cove City. The interment will follow at Bryant Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Coward Brown of the home; two sons, Anthony Allen Brown,Sr. Kinston, NC and Claude Alexander Brown, Sr. New Bern; four daughters, Claudine L. Moore, Greenville, NC, Laura Barfield, Trenton, NC, Rita Brown of the home and Angie Hall, Trenton, NC; one brother, Louis Brown, Cove City, NC; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Nena B.Kinsey.
