Obituary For Cheryl Butler-Weedon

Cheryl Butler-Weedon, 58, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, July 30, 2020. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of John Wesley Butler, Sr. and the late Gladys M. (Washington) Butler, a 1980 graduate of Harrisburg High School, Wesley College of Dover, DE in 1983 and a U.S. Army Veteran. Cheryl is a member of the Beulah Baptist Church of Steelton and a former employee of the former New Cumberland Army Depot. In addition to her father, Cheryl leaves to celebrate her life, her husband, William D. Weedon; her step-children, Willie, William III and Treena Weedon; her brothers, Wallace Butler and John Wesley Butler, Jr.; her sister, Angie Butler Brooks; her grandchildren, Knight, Nasir, Taran Weedon and Cornell Brown and a host of other relatives and friends. Cheryl's life will be celebrated privately on Wednesday, August 5th at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with a public viewing from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon and burial Thursday, August 6th at 11:30 a.m. with full military honors in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks and six foot social distancing for all attendees. L
