Obituary For Mattie Jackson

JACKSON, Mattie Mattie King Ansley Jackson was born in Jackson GA on February 20, 1922.

She slept away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2020.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Central Holiness Church, 1069 Washington Street, SW, Atlanta. Pastor, Elder John Knox, Eulogy Arthur Grier, Martin Street Church of God, assisted by others.

Entombment at Southview Cemetery, Atlanta. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted children, Josephine Lowe, Barbara Strickland, Patricia A. Hawk, Willie Ansley (Nedjrah), Sheryl Calhoun (Charles), Theresa Ansley, Ricky (Livia), one preceded in death, Ethel Hambrick; Wesley Ridley, a special God Son; 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 56 great-great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and her Summerhill-People Town community family.

A viewing will be held today from 11 AM 8 PM in our Chapel. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 10:30 AM day of service.
