Obituary For Shelby Smith

Mr. Shelby Smith, 66, of Pearl, Mississippi passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center, Jackson, MS. He is the son of the late Herman and Lillie Mae Smith.

Mr. Smith was an Inmate Locator at Mississippi Department of Corrections who enjoyed reading and watching "In the Heat of the Night."

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-8pm; family hour: 6-8pm.

He is survived by: sons, Timothy Smith of Lewisville, TX and Cornelius Taylor of Gulfport, MS; brothers, Kenneth Smith and Thomas Smith both of Mt. Olive, MS; sisters, Mary Phillips of Canton, MS, Patsy Robinson of Hampton, VA, Judy Witcher of Utah and Latrell Chipling of Rio Vista, CA; grandchildren: 8; great-grandchildren: 2

My condolences to the Taylor and Smith family. I met these people Shelby Smith and Voncile Taylor in my young years. I fail in love with their kindness to people. Snd, they showed people their love to each other. I truly miss them. I'll never forget them. My older sister married in tge Smith family.
