Funeral services for Ms. Brenda Gayle Pickett, of Powder Springs, will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at Donald Trimble Mortuary Chapel. Elder Terrance Maeberry, Officiating. Interment, Monte Vista Biblical Gardens Mausoleum, Atlanta, GA. One of Brenda’s greatest joys in life was her family. She will be remembered most as a selfless, thoughtful daughter, sister, and mother who always had a smile on her face. She had a knack for turning strangers into friends, and friends into family. Brenda loved laughing and playing games with her family and friends. She was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She had a quiet spirit with calm strength and loved greeting everyone with lots of hugs and kisses. Brenda was a member of the Woodward Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to her Mother, Alma Smith, also left to cherish Brenda’s memories are her daughters, Vanessa Pickett and Tiara Pickett, granddaughter, Madison Pickett, of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Tony Reed and Stanley Smith, also of Atlanta, GA; sister, Lisa Perry (Carl) of Marietta, GA; first cousins, Janice Jackson and Renee Ogburn; close friend, Deborah Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives.
