Mr. Bobby Tennyson, 65 of Augusta, GA, departed this life, Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Augusta University. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Pleasant C.M.E. Cemetery, Bartow, GA. with mask and social distancing. Public Viewing will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home. Mr. Bobby Tennyson was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia, born February 20, 1955, to the parentage of the late Tommy Lee Tennyson and Mamie Lee Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Tennyson; five brothers, Charles Dan Tennyson, Tom Tennyson, Lester Tennyson, Al Tennyson, and Jerry Tennyson; sister, Shirley Jean Tennyson Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jordan Tennyson; children, Charles Golphin, Millen, GA, Beverly Tennyson, Augusta, GA, Molisha Ann Tennyson, Augusta, GA, Stacy (Ezekiel) Richardson, Hephzibah, GA, Erica Ridgell, Millen, GA, Tonya Golphin, Millen, GA; siblings, Willie Tennyson, Sr., Augusta, GA, James Holmes, Jacksonville, FL, Issac Holmes, Forsyth, GA, Sara Holmes, Augusta, GA, Mamie Johnson, Waynesboro, GA, Sadie Sanders, Burlington, NJ, Joann McNeil, Atlanta, GA, Debbie (James) Axen, St. Augustine, FL; sister-in-law., Diane Tennyson, Louisville, GA; one great aunt, Myrt Brown, Bartow, GA, twelve grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
