Elder Stanley was a special soul. He was a veteran of the United States, and a soldier for the Lord. He will be missed by family, friends, and loved ones. He always had a kind word to say and tried to find the silver lining in every dark cloud he faced even when others only focused on the dark cloud. He was a friend of my family and I in fact, that's how I met my wife was through the ministry of Elder Stanley. One lessen I can gain from knowing Elder Stanley is to give people another chance because that's how he lived his life. That's what Jesus does. He gives us another chance even though we don't deserve one. Finally I'd like to say, and our Lord commands, love one another, be kindly affectionate towards each other because you Never know when its your time be laid to rest. May you Rest In Peace Elder
