May God sustain the family in times like these. I will always remember Bishop as a freshman at East Lincoln High. He would run to my class every day with those little gym shorts on because he knew that if he was late he couldn't come to my class so he wouldn't take time to change. Now he is resting with Jesus. Thank You God for one Bishop Franklin Lowery. Your earthly work is completed. Family hold on. God will bring you through. Wanda Cates

Words can't express our sorrow at the loss of Coach Lowery. Our community has lost a great leader, and even better human being. Abbey hoops was at its best when Coach Lowery was involved. Always with a word of encouragement, a great story, or a life lesson. Maybe we didn't think about it much in the moment but, 30 years later, I think about his profound influence on my life. He made me a better man and for that..... I will always love him. Rest in peace Coach L. Mike and Annette Ellis
