Obituary For Vinelle Jackson Neal

Vinelle J. Neal was born to the late Willie G. Jackson, Sr. and Margaret Lewis on December 29, 1941 in Okeechobee, FL. She attended school in Okeechobee and graduated from the Douglas Brown School in 1960. Shortly thereafter, she met and married Eddie James Neal, Sr. on October 21, 1960.

Vinelle accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She became a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she served for many years.

Sister Neal worked in several capacities throughout the years. She was a homemaker, secretary, social worker, financial advisor, juvenile counselor and an advocate for her community. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.

As Sister Neal’s health declined, she continued to trust in the Lord. In spite of it all, she remained steadfast until the Lord summoned her home on July 29, 2020.

Sister Neal was preceded in death by her father Willie G. Jackson, Sr., mother Margaret McDowell and brother Willie G. Jackson, Jr.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her six children: Margie Neal, Eddie Neal, Jr. (Sheila), Frankie Neal, Stephanie Simpson, Alfreda Hall (Eric), and Roger Neal (Dominique); grandchildren: Franquell Pryce (Melvin), Shana Brown (Jamal), La’Roy Neal, Shartelle Neal, Eddie J.
