Obituary For Michael Cheeks

Spartanburg, SC | Michael Lamar Cheeks, 45, peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2020. Mr. Michael Lamar Cheeks was the son of the late June Arthur Cheeks and Linda Crook Cheeks. He was the husband of Monica Eison Cheeks.

He was employed with McCracken Middle School.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his sons, Daquan Rice and Drequan Cheeks; his stepchildren Ladasha Eison and Tarren Boozer; his grandchild, Malaya Rose; his wife, Monica Eison Cheeks; his brother, Bryant (Demetra) Cheeks of Spartanburg, SC; his special friend, Charlotte Miller; and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of the Life of Michael Lamar Cheeks will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard Street, Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be held at Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2256 Cannons Campground Road, Drayton, SC. The Pastor Dr. Antwion Yowe will officiate.
