Obituary For Calvin Moye

Mr. Calvin Moye, of J F Hart Road, Wadley, GA, departed this life Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be held in the Yard of Pierce Grove Baptist Church Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with mask and social distancing. Burial will be held in the Original Pierce Grove Baptist Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home. Mr. Moye was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia, born August 4, 1963, to the parentage of the late Clifford Brown and Nettie McKinnie Moye. He was a graduate of Louisville High School 1982. He was a member of Pierce Grove Baptist Church. Calvin was a member of Local Union 207 and a licensed asbestos worker. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Kirk Moye. He is survived by his children, Xavier (Anquaneta Holliday) Moye, Bartow, GA, Marikee Moye, Louisville, GA; siblings, Cassandra Payton, Martinez, GA; grandchildren, Xavier Moye, Jr., Za’Daysia Moye, Cali Rae Moye, all of Bartow, GA; three aunts, Ezra Flournoy, Bartow, GA , Mary Brown and Eunice Devero, Louisville, GA; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
