Obituary For Willie Pitts, Jr.

Spartanburg, SC | Willie James Pitts, Jr., 41, peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 7, 2020. Mr. Pitts was the son of Mrs. Christine Pitts and the late Willie James Pitts, Sr.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his sisters, Mrs. Janet Pruitt of Moss Point, MS, Mrs. Mildred (Tony) McClintock of Spartanburg, SC and Mrs. Mary Hollis (Marvin) Mitchell of Boiling Springs, SC; brother, Mr. David (Octavious) Pitts of Spartanburg, SC; and aunt, Ms. Donna Brannon of Spartanburg, SC.

Willie Pitts was preceded in death by his father, Willie J. Pitts, Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Mildred Hughes; and his uncle, Roosevelt Brown, Sr.

A Celebration of the Life of Willie James Pitts, Jr. will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Cemetery Street Cemetery, Spartanburg, SC. The Prophetess Jeanette Haynes will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Mary Hollis Mitchell. Condolences may be sent to the Pitts family.
