She was born in Jefferson County, GA to the parentage of the late Samuel Martin, Jr. and Gladys Gilmore Martin. She worked for many years as a U. S. Civil Service worker for the U. S. Army most recently at Ft. Knox, KY.
Survivors include, her loving husband, Roy Adams; her mother, Gladys Howard; her son, Derrick R. (Nyisha) Adams; daughter, Natasha D. Adams; her siblings, John Howard, Cora Bell and Annette Butts; her grandchildren, Shamia Hibbler, Brandon Washington, Jr., Kayia Adams and Aliyah Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Louisville, GA.
