Obituary For Alfred "T-Bone" Hicks, Sr.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Alfred Hicks Sr. will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, Rev. Dr. Glenn B. Dames Jr., Pastor, and Minister Jaime Pointer, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery.

Alfred Hicks Sr. was born January 24, 1951 in Ocala, Fl to the Late Samuel and Viola Hicks. He was a long time resident of Tampa, FL. And was Known in the Tampa Bay Area as “T-BONE”.

Alfred “T-BONE” Hicks- Little Man with the BIG Boogie was called from this earthly life on Tuesday July 28, 2020.

A graduate of Middleton High School class of 1969, was a former member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church under Rev. Howard, His early years he worked for Channel 13 news, several night clubs, The Shack in Hyde Park and was one of the first DJ for the (Psychedelic Shack) teen club for the Late Charles Gay Popa Miles. Worked for WTMP Radio Station for several years.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 6-8 pm at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Ave. Tampa 33605. In compliance with CDC guidelines Social Distancing will be in effect and wearing of face Mask is required to enter services. A SERVICE OF INTEGRITY
