Mr. Joe Mann Nelson, departed this life Monday, August 10, 2020. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020. At 1:00 P.M.at Ways Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Stellaville, GA. Mr. Nelson was a native of Jefferson County born to the parentage of the late Izell Nelson, Sr. and Eva Jean White Nelson. He was employed at Lewis Steel Works, Inc for several years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bobbie Ann Jordan Nelson; five brothers, Izell Nelson, Jr., Richard C. Nelson, Eugene Nelson, Levy Nelson and James W. Nelson; one sister, Betty J. Nelson; two children, Bobbie J. Nelson and Jonathan D. Nelson and one granddaughter,Masharann Bostic. Survivors include three sons, Joseph (Kim) Nelson, Thomson, GA, Timothy Nelson and Bryant Nelson, Wrens, GA; three daughters, Lisa (Larry) Boatwright, Oklahoma, Sharon (Marico) Nelson and Vanessa (Richie) Nelson, Wrens, GA; brothers, Horace Nelson, FL, sisters, Mary Lee Nelson, FL and Norma Jean Nelson, Louisville, GA; thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a special friend, Carolyn Conaway, Wrens, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
