Mrs. Johnnie Mae Barnes, 91, of Prentiss, Mississippi passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

She is the daughter of the late John and Lemmel Black. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Holisday Creek Baptist Church where she served as Missionary, Honorary Usher, and Honorary Youth Leader.

Mrs. Barnes was a retired Headstart Teacher.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2020 at Holisday Creek Baptist Church, Carson, Mississippi at 1pm.

She is survived by: sons, Sammy Blackmon of Greenwood, MS; Tracey Barnes of New Orleans, LA; daughters, Mae Knight of Prentiss, MS; Lynn Wade and Gloria Kendrick both of Jackson, MS.
